I've had the best day today. I treated myself to hobby lobby and bought two floss organizer boxes and a stitching frame. It was on sale, and I couldnt resist......
Now I will be doing a new project, organizing all my floss.

Here is a recipe that I make often.
Its called White Enchiladas. Its easy and its not that spicy, I dont like too spicy food, but this is jusy right. This is the kids favorite!

Flour tortillas
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 container of sour cream
taco seasoning mix
1 pound of ground beef
grated mild cheddar cheese
sliced black olives (optional)

1. cook ground meat like you would for tacos, by going by the directions on the taco seasoning and set aside.
2. heat tortillas up in the microwave for a couple of seconds.
3. divid cooked meat up and spoon enough on each tortilla and roll each one and place them on a foiled lined baking pan.
4. Stir the can of cream of chicken soup and sour cream together.
5. Spread the mixture on the rolled tortillas. add the cheese and olives on top.

Bake 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted.

I add shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and salsa on the serving plate.

Let me know if you like this recipe!!!!! Deb

For all cat lovers!!!!!

These are the pattern books that I have collected over the years. As you can see I like cats!

I use an empty paper towel roll to store my WIP

I got this idea from someone on how to keep my projects from being folded when I store them.

Finished magnet

Here is a magnet I made. I put a piece of felt on the back. This was just a quick sample. I just wanted to see what it would look like and how sturdy it would be.

This is the lion Im doing right now. The colors are really pretty. Ive been working on this for about a month on and off.

My favorite needle case

My yarn dog I made

Here is some of my stitchy stuff. My sewing box is so old. The pincushion is gone and so is one of the feet. I do punch needle also. The projects and patterns are next.

My first place winner in 2008

I finally got my camera!!!
Here is my first picture of the model I did. Its not to clear but its so tiny. its 1/16 scale. This won
1st place last year at the state fair. The saddle and bridle all made by hand. The model was repainted with mohair mane and tail. I also added shoes. Ill be working on some of my stitchy stuff next so you can see my stash!!!

I have joined a PIF

Hello I have been going through all my things. I recently joined a few PIFs. If Im a winner I have a few Ideas for gifts for my PIF winners. This weekend Im planning to post a few pics. Im looking forward to that. Here is a small list of UFOs Im working on,

Wildlife series LION kit by Janlynn
This was hard to find as they dont make this one any more.

Water Tiger by Kustom Krafts
I recently started it but havent gotten to far in it.

Im also making a sampler for my grandkids. It has the fingerprint poem and Im planning to have my other daughter sneak prints of the kid's hands at the bottom of it.

I have so many charts and patterns that I have collected through the years that I'll just have to take pics of them.

Well, I'm in my room getting a break from my stitching. I'm working on getting a camera set up so I can take photos of all of my projects and all my stitching stuff. I recently found a box of my cross stitch patterns and books and did I drool!!! I found my old sewing box on which I will take a picture of. This box is at least 15 years old. The pincushion is gone, one of the feet is gone and the material inside is wearing out. I still love it.

As for me I make miniture leather saddles by scratch. I take them to the fair almost every year and come home with blue ribbons everytime. The tiniest is 1/16 scale which is about the size of a thumb nail. What got me into this hobby was after my husband died it was almost the only therapy I had. Someone one day said why dont you enter one in the fair, I kind of joked saying these things wont even be worth looking at, well I was wrong. I had people that I havent seen in a year come to the fair just to see my work that is so awsome. One person said to me, Dont under estimate yourself, what you might think isnt good enough, is beautiful in someone elses eyes.
